Cold and Colder

January 24, 2017

The winter seems to have grown on us, and it doesn't seem to let go. So I had to bundle up! The winters in London are not bad at all, comparing to what I'm used to back home in Transylvania (that means temperatures of up to - 20 °C) so I can still look stylish while rocking some warm pieces. Don't worry about the skort, I've been wearing short skirts and shorts on much colder occasions.

What's your favourite way conquer the cold? Wearing some really warm pieces on the areas of the body that feel very cold super fast or layering up? Personally I prefer both but when I have some pieces that I really love - like this orange skort and embroidered tiger top from DressLily, I prefer to go for a thick fur coat and some comfy boots to keep me warm.

And let's not forget about the new faux fur Russian inspired hat that it's fully lined and also keeps my ears really warm. Yup, that's a must for me - even though I have long hair, my head always feel cold so this is the cherry on top. Would you wear one?
